About Jacqueline

I am the mother of 2 adult children and grandmother to 3 beautiful grandchildren, 4 cats and 2 dogs.  I love escaping to nature when I can with my husband, spending as much time as I can with family, enjoying a local red wine with a meal and watching movies.  I enjoy reading, swimming, crashing in front of Netflix or Stan, listening to an eclectic range of music and meditation.

My work history includes working with intellectually disabled adults before spending 16 years in management at a large retail company head office.  Psychology has always been my passion, so I returned to study while working full time as a mature age student.

After completing my degrees and placements with the Access Team, Primary Mental Health Partners (adults) and the Department of Education (children), I worked in public mental health.  This work included delivery of services to adults and children under the ATAPS model which provided services to low income clients.

COVID-19 Changes

COVID-19 has been a challenge for most of us. One of the exciting things that has come from COVID-19 is the rapid acceptance of telehealth, adapting and changing therapy methods to suit this new medium. Many of the advantages include that therapy can now be delivered in the comfort of your own home, no matter where you live!  It is important to make sure you have a private space, don't forget the tissues and a glass of water!

Welcome to our service

I am very excited to work with you in a warm, supportive environment to help you achieve your mental health goals.

I believe everyone should receive access to quality evidence based assessment and  treatment that is adjusted to your individual needs.

There are a number of tools that have been found to be effective in the treatment and management of mental health issues.  By learning how to use these tools yourself, you become empowered.

Transcendent Psychology is currently operating online only with a secure telehealth system that meets Australian Health Standards for security and privacy. You can now access therapy from the comfort of your own home with a computer, smart phone or tablet.
